Coachman Challenge

The Coachman Challenge program provides a structured set of goals for new and experienced fly fishers to achieve.

Members participating in the program must master a series of required and elective topics over the course of a year. Upon completion, a member will have a firm grasp of fly fishing fundamentals and their accomplishment will be acknowledged by the membership as a whole.

Learning the Basics
Goal – to learn basic fly fishing techniques and be comfortable on the water including rigging or replacing gear without the assistance of others. To understand fishing ethics and general conservation practices. PDF>
