Annual BBQ September 27, 2025This is sure to be a relaxing and fun evening .
The CFFU Annual Barbeque will be held at Chuck Odell and Mary Anne Hampton’s house (6115 Vernal Way, Carmichael). The bar will have, wine, soda and water. Beer and wine donations are greatly appreciated. You can always bring your own refreshment. Lots of parking on the street near our house so please come and enjoy. The mosquitos will probably be out, recommend a bug repellent. Rain, although rare, may be a surprise so we will keep watch and make a decision if a deluge is forecast. After all, we are fishermen/women. Desserts would be greatly appreciated as would donations of beer and wine. Mary Anne will make her Cherry Cobbler. Reservations are needed no later than September 22nd to insure we have enough food. You can pay by credit card or check at the General Meetings (make check out to CFFU) or mail a check to P.O Box 162997 Sacramento CA, 95818. You can also buy your tickets here using credit card, PayPal. The cost this year will be $30 per person.

Menu: Barbequed brisket, pork baby back ribs, pulled pork, smoked lemon chicken thighs, baked beans, coleslaw, potato salad, and dinner rolls We need volunteers to help setup and tear down the afternoon of September 27 around 1:00. Tear down after the party should be easy. We will rent enough chairs but if you have a special one, please bring it. A porta-potty will be available. If members of the club have tables that they can share for the event, it would help us defray the cost. Please send an email to Chuck Odell ([email protected]) to arrange delivery. Please put your name on the table so we can get it after the party. Please come and let’s have a wonderful time. This a picture perfect location for a very enjoyable evening with your spouses, guests and CFFU friends. The food is always great and plentiful, so be sure you attend!
