Time: 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.

REPORT: WEDNESDAY,
NOVEMBER 9, 2011 -
NEW MEMBER MEETING

On Wednesday, November 9th, we had 8 new members attend the quarterly new members meeting. Their names are: David Little, Paul Bauldry, Bill Montalvo, Ray Rajas, James Gunvordahl, Bill Jeffrey, Miriam Jeffry, and James Boes. To the other new members who were unable to attend, we extend an invitation to attend our next quarterly new members meeting on Wednesday, February 15th at 6:30 p.m.

The CFFU members who attended were: Past President Valerie Adams, Tech Services Director Carl Lang, Fish In The Classroom Brandie Herron, and I, Membership Director, Rich Wilson. Valerie chaired the meeting and informed our new members of all aspects of the club, answered questions and lead discussions regarding what CFFU is all about. At the end of the meeting our new members were presented with a certificate for 6 free flies from each of four fly fishing shops in Sacramento for a total of 24 free flies. That alone covers the cost of their dues for the first year.
